Rudolphella was Rudolph's daughter. Now when Rudolphella was growing up Santa and Rudolph had no problems but when she grew up, they had problems.
You see when Rdolphella grew up she became the head of the E.R.A. movement in the North Pole. She and her band of followers urged women elves to picket for equal wage. They urged Mrs. Claus to stand up for her rights.
Yes, Rudolphella is the one that the E.R.A. has to thank for bringing equal rights to the North Pole. Many reindeer laughed at her including the sleigh deer.
The only one who didn't laugh and was serious about the whole matter was Santa but Santa had problems of his own. Someone was trying to sabotage Christmas!
Someone had been trying hard. First they had cute the harness for the sleigh, then they had opened the window to the elves' dormitory while the elves were sleeping. so that the next morning most of the elves had bad colds and couldn't work for three weeks.
It was drawing close to two weeks before Christmas when a startling thing happened,. Someone had stolen Santa's suit! Without the suit Santa couldn't go out Christmas Eve and deliver presents.
The elves and reindeer searched all over for the suit. They were searching for the suit near Rudophella's cave when they something sticking out from a rock. They turned the rock over and sure enough there was Santa's suit.
Rudolphella was questioned about it but she swore up and down that she didn't steal it. No one believed her. She was told to stay in her cave until after Christamas at which time further punishment would be issued.
Santa thought that his problem was solved, but he couldn't figure out why Rudolphella would want to ruin Christmas.
Soon it was Christmas Eve and everyone was loading the sleigh for Santa's big ride. They discovered that Prancer wasn't wasn't there. Some elves went to check the stables. There was Prancer poisoned, not dead but very sick and all the elves knew Prancer couldn't fly that night.
When they told Santa he was heart borken. Then they saw a strange reindeer. Santa asked, "Do you know how to fly?"
"Yes," replied the deer.
"Will you help fly my sleigh?" questioned Santa.
"Sure," said the deer.
They left on schedule and came back the next morning. When they came back they found that Prancer was much better.
Santa went to check on Rudolphella. She was there muttering to herself, "I didn't stop Santa. If that dumb reindeer hadn't shown up I would have stopped Santa or he would have had to use a girl reindeer."
Santa was angry at Rudolphella but he asked her why she would go so far as to hurt Prancer. She said it was all for the E.R.A,.
She promised Santa she would give up the E.R.A. and Santa promised he would open flying school for women reindeer.
